about
Zack Garlitos is an artist, photographer, and Brooklyn native currently based in New York City. He believes that the process of making a photograph both requires and fosters vulnerability and relationship between subject and photographer, and that it can be used as a tool to remain present in a world filled with stimuli and distraction. He would love to make your portrait, and is available for editorial and commercial assignments, as well as any and all of your portrait needs or other photographic collaborations.
Zack’s photographs have appeared in the Brooklyn Rail, and he continues to work with Rail publisher Phong Bui to photograph artists, writers, and critics for Bui’s sketches of the personalities that appear in the publication. He is also a Contributing Photographer at Cultured magazine.
